Tin Pan Theater, the beloved 28 seat arthouse cinema in the heart of Bend’s historic downtown, is your home for all things indie film. Owned and operated by BendFilm since 2019, Tin Pan features curated programming with daily showtimes, and has become an iconic venue at the annual Bend Film Festival.

What kind of films are played at Tin Pan?
We play a wide variety of films; from Oscar contenders, independent and international films, documentaries, b-movies, cult classics, and more! We do our best to present a selection that will be enjoyed by all kinds of folks with different tastes, interests, and preferences, but we also love to surprise moviegoers with our own personal favorites and picks.
When should I arrive?
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before showtime.The best time to arrive is 30 minutes before showtime, especially for a sold-out show where our concessions line will quickly fill up! You are able to come in right at showtime– But please enter quietly, and know that you might be buying your popcorn in the dark!
Do you take walk-ins?
Absolutely! To ensure that you can secure a seat, please show up 30 minutes before showtime to purchase your tickets and reserve your spot. (Note: Even if a show is sold out, you can still take advantage of our overflow seating: folding lawn-chairs and bar stools.)
How can I find out what you’re playing, and when? How far out do you schedule showings?
Click “Now Playing” on the menu at the top of our website. To browse shows by date, select the date you are interested in. To see which specific films we’re playing, click the “Films” button!
You can also find a Marquee Card with showtimes posted on our front door near the handle! You might also spot one of our Marquee Cards in a few businesses downtown!
We build our film schedule at least 2 weeks in advance. New showtimes are posted online every Monday.
There’s a specific movie I want to see at Tin Pan. Will you play it?

When are you open?
Our doors open 30 minutes prior to our next upcoming showtime. For example, if we have 2 showings in a day at 3:00PM and 7:00PM, our doors will be open at 2:30PM and at 6:30PM, respectively.
How can I buy tickets?
Tin Pan tickets can be purchased by clicking the “Purchase Tickets” button on our homepage. To browse showtimes by date, stay on the “Now Playing” page and select the date you are interested in. To browse films, click “Films”, and you will see all films that have tickets available to purchase.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, we do! Click “Gift Cards” on the menu at the top of our website, where you’ll be able to purchase a virtual gift card. If you’re in need of a physical gift card, first purchase the card online, then bring the code to Tin Pan Theater, and we can send you off with a physical card!
Do you have discounts?
Yes, we do! Our regular screenings have discounted Senior rates. We also offer discounted Ticket Packs– Click “Discounts” on the menu at the top of our website to read more about those!
How can I rent the Tin Pan for an event?
Click “Rent the Tin Pan” on the menu at the top of our website. That page will give you all of the information that you need– Read thoroughly, and then click the “Send Rental Request” button on that page! Fill out the rental inquiry form, and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible!
How can I propose a collaboration between my organization and Tin Pan?

I need to cancel my tickets! Can I get a return, or exchange for another time?
Send us an email at boxoffice@bendfilm.org, and tell us which film/showtime you need to cancel, and what name your tickets were purchased under. Let us know in your message if you’d like a refund back to the payment method that you used to purchase the tickets, or if you’d like to exchange for another showtime! Currently, we can’t currently give credits for films, so be sure to check out upcoming shows and let us know which one you’d like to exchange your tickets to.

Accessibility at Tin Pan Theater
Tin Pan Theater has a single entrance that can be accessed through Tin Pan Alley in downtown Bend. There is one step into the theater that may hinder people with limited mobility or those who use mobility aids. Seating can accommodate a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. Tin Pan Theater is a cozy yet low-light space and it can take some time for your eyes to adjust after being in the bright Central Oregon sunshine. The restroom at Tin Pan is an all-gender, single-user facility. Tin Pan Theater has 28 fixed theater seats and a total capacity of 40.
We encourage guests to arrive 20 minutes early to get settled before showtimes. Generally, we aim to keep trailers and pre-show announcements to less than 10 minutes. For folks arriving late, please enter quietly and check-in at the bar before taking a seat.

TICKETING AT TIN PAN
Tickets are available online and at the theater! You will need to login or create an account in order to purchase/reserve assigned seating tickets in advance. Walk-in tickets are available but not guaranteed. Bring in your tickets with QR code and we will scan upon entry. Struggling with our online system? Fear not, we can look you up by name!

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Tin Pan Theater does not have any assigned parking spaces and downtown parking rules and regulations apply.

Accessible Parking: There are 41 accessible on-street parking spaces available downtown. Any vehicle displaying the accessible plate or placard may park in these spaces without regard to time limits. Cascade East Transit provides a fixed bus route, recreational shuttles, rural Dial-a-Ride service for the public, and a Dial-a-Ride service for qualifying persons with disabilities and seniors who qualify as low-income. Get connected to transit in Central Oregon.
